Monica joined us in 2021 at the front desk. She has been working in the dental field since 2004 when she was first licensed as a dental assistant. Her knowledge of dental procedures, appointment scheduling, billing and insurance make her an amazing asset. She has a great smile, likes to laugh and can pull some pranks that are legendary. Life is too short to be taken too seriously. (Monica, we want you to know we feel the same way. When you book a vacation the same day as staff photos, you leave it to our discretion to select a staff photo for you.)
Monica and her husband Eddie moved to Pepin after living near the Twin Cities for years. She enjoys spending time with her family and her German Shepherd. In her free time she likes motorcycling, reading and working on her hobby farm.
I was dreading going to the dentist being as I haven't been in about 8 years, and I know my mouth is not in great shape. As soon as I checked in I was taken to Dawn who did my cleaning and xrays. She is so friendly and informative! My initial experience with her took away a great deal of my anxiety. She brought in Dr. Schoen who confirmed that a problematic tooth of mine would have to be pulled, and he explained exactly why that tooth was having and causing issues, and how to get it out as painlessly as possible. I have never in my life been able to say that I am comfortable with and trust a dentist, until now. Getting dental work done is not my favorite activity, but at least now I can get my oral health taken care of without the anxiety and being treated like the next set of feet walking in and out of the door. DEFINITELY recommend!
