Born and raised in Minnesota, Julie graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. She says she loves both states and divides her time by working on the MN side of the river and living on the WI side. Make no mistake about it, she is a Packer fan! Julie joined Schoen Family Dentistry in 2013.
On her days off, you can find her spending time with her husband and three teenage sons, reading, baking, gardening and camping. Her family is especially fond of the National Eagle Center in Wabasha as well as fishing/kayaking the backwaters of the Mississippi.
I was dreading going to the dentist being as I haven't been in about 8 years, and I know my mouth is not in great shape. As soon as I checked in I was taken to Dawn who did my cleaning and xrays. She is so friendly and informative! My initial experience with her took away a great deal of my anxiety. She brought in Dr. Schoen who confirmed that a problematic tooth of mine would have to be pulled, and he explained exactly why that tooth was having and causing issues, and how to get it out as painlessly as possible. I have never in my life been able to say that I am comfortable with and trust a dentist, until now. Getting dental work done is not my favorite activity, but at least now I can get my oral health taken care of without the anxiety and being treated like the next set of feet walking in and out of the door. DEFINITELY recommend!
